Business Listings : now with find your location on a map

Have you added your business to our directory?

We have now made it easier to set your location within our business listings. Simply enter your postcode within the map section and a pin will mark your location. You can then drag this map to point to the building you are in. This makes it easier for your customers to find your location.

Your customers will also be able to get directions within your business listing to where you are based.

Gallery on business listings added

We have now added the ability for you to add upto 5 images on your business listing. This could be an image of the outside of your building to help people find you or even some images of your work or treatment rooms.

Could you write a therapy description for the Health Directory?

We are looking for short descriptions for each of the therapies. This would only be a short paragraph and will be used as the introduction to the "Health Directory" for that therapy.

Health Directory Reviews

What is one of the best forms of advertising, "recommendation".

That is why we have implemented a review feature to myhealthspace.

Now under the Health Directory you can see a tab labels "Review", selecting this will enable people to review a practitioner that they have found to be good or not so good.

Here there are various stars where their services can be rated and an average is calculated from all the reviews.

Maps in Business Directory

The maps have been enabled in the Business Directory listings. A map will be shown at the top of the Business Directory section as you browse the various categories.

The Map will automatically zoom to only show the listings that match the selected category.

New postcode search for customers

We have updated the business directory to now include post code searching for the listings. This allows users to select their postcode and the type of therapy they require and search our database of therapists and suppliers.

A list of results is returned showing the various business listings with the distance shown for each listing.

myHealthSpace Updates to site

We worked through the night 1/6/2008 to release our new version of myhealthspace. This was some patches to ensure that security is kept up to date.

We also updated some of the features within the business directory.

We are also planning some changes very soon to the directory search to enable users to search using their postcode to find their nearest practitioner. We will be providing details to practitioners so that the have the right information in their listings to enable cus [...]

Searching myHealthSpace and member sites via google

Trying to find the bit of information is so important, that is why we have implemented a private google search engine into myHealthSpace.

All our members who have registered their website in their personal information or in the myHealthSpace Business directory, will be added to our private search in myHealthSpace.

myHealthSpace on a new server

We had a half a days down time on the web site myhealthspace. Sorry about this.

This was due to issues with our service provider. We have now migrated to a new server and we hope this brings a speed improvement.

Have you added your details to the myhealthSpace practitioner directory? Once logged in if you select Directory then Add Entry , you will be able to add your details. Your details will show up on the practioner map under the various categories, thus allowing customers to find you

Invite a friend to join myHealthSpace gain Karma

myHealthSpace has created a way you can invite your firends, practitioners and suppliers to join myHealthSpace. Once registered select your profile selecting 'My Profile' and then 'My Invites'. Add the email addresses of people that you want to join and provide some additional invite text. Once they have registered with myHealthSpace, you automatically will have a relationship created to their profile from yours, thus extending your social network.
