Rules relating to the Discussion ForumsPostingEnsure that you select the correct forum when posting a topic. Do not cross post the same topic in multiple forums. Please do not type all your topic in CAPS or use large fonts and colours, doing so just makes it harder for people to read.
LanguagePlease use English in all forums, when posting or replying. Postings not in English will be deleted as we are unable to moderate the content. Filters are put in place to remove foul language please refrain from using foul language in the forums. Offensive language will not be tolerated. Attacks or personal remarks will not be tolerated against other members of the forum, however you are allowed to express you opinion and dis-agreed with someone if you formulate you response in a civil manor. We do want to encourage well formed discussion, but respect other peoples thoughts, ideas and beliefs.
Impersonate and Multiple AccountsYou must not impersonate any member of the myHealthSpace team or members allocated as moderators on the behalf of myHealthSpace.
You must not create multiple accounts and provide discussion between these accounts to deceive members.
CopyrightDo not post copyright material, as copyright infringement is illegal. The poster of the content is responsible for the content they provide. If you do post parts of articles from copyright information, please place a reference to the source material and make it clear which part of the text is from the extract.
Commercial AdvertisingAdvertising of your services or products is not permitted in the forums. Any posts found to contain advertising will be removed by the administrator. Certain posts relating to products or services that help support the community will be allowed at the Moderators and myHealthSpace discretion. Under certain "closed group" community forums advertising will be permitted if it directly relates to the services offered by a professional recognised body or in the interest of building that particular community, this will be at the discretion of myHealthSpace.

Directory - For listing your business and professional services that you offer.
Classifieds - For items that you have to sell.
Web LinksDo not post website links within the body of a forum post unless directly related to particular discussion. You can not add website links within your signature for you forum posts. Please use the correct location within your profile for recording your website details.
Publicising your own servicesIn replying to a discussion where you may provide services in this area do not directly post to the forum with your contact details. myHealthSpace provides a feature to enable (PM) private messages to be sent between users. Please respond my using something like "for further information in this area please PM me". Please leave the onus on the user to contact you and do not directly contact the user requesting information via PM until they have made contact with you. This is reduce the amount of SPAM advertising between users.
If questions are asked like "do you know a supplier of?" or "do you know a good therapists in ....?", please do not respond directly to the users post. We prefer other users to comment or recommend you rather than direct advertising. This makes for better discussions and recommendations from our community.
Conduct of UsersmyHealthSpace and its allocated moderators do monitors parts of the forums but we are unable to moderate every topic. We do provide a facility which allows users to report breach of the rules or postings that they find offensive to myHealthSpace and its moderators. This can be found at the bottom of the posting as a "Report to moderator" link. Selecting this you can report abuse of the rules, providing your reasons as to your concern.
SPAM & PingingSPAM, sending unsolicited or irrelevant messages to the discussion forums will not be tolerated and these messages will be removed and the users account deleted. Pinging, responding to a post with irrelevant information to move the topic to the top of the list is not permitted. This is typically of the forum like "Any answer to this?" or "Not heard yet", these messages will be removed.
Topic Content ResponsibilitiesThe content of the posts is the sole responsibility of the poster and not of myHealthSpace, they do not reflect our views or opinions. The IP address or the poster is added to the message as a security measure.
myHealthSpace rightsmyHealthSpace and its moderators have the right to edit, alter or remove content within these forums.
