Can honey fight superbugs like MRSA? Posted: 1 Year, 1 Month ago myHealthPoints: 1
Professor Rose Cooper from the University of Wales Institute Cardiff has perfromed some interesting research into manuka honey, he found "significant changes” in the bacteria’s protein expression, which is likely to be detrimental to its survival.

Interesting story: MRSA is big issue as bugs are becoming increasingly resistant the active ingredient in Manuka honey is very powerful, I often recommend it for healing of leg ulcers, or in the treatment of burns; I know for a fact that it is used in some UK hospital for this purpose.
For MRSA essential oils are also important: I have already saved two people from amputation by using a combination of oils to fight MRSA, ypu can read the story of one of them at http://www.cure-by-nature.co.uk/page26/page32/
There is some research going on in France to find an ideal essential oil mix to use as a spray to disinfect hospitals.
